Soft Mixture English

Listed only by Irwin, who says:

A manual mixture stop of soft intonation, with a variety of pitches and tone qualities among its examples. It may be a Kleine Mixture, Dolce Cornet, or Dulciana mixture. It may contain Gemshorn, Dolce, Dulciana, Echo Diapason, or Echo Viola ranks, or any mixture of these tone qualities. The soft Diapasons make ideal accompaniment sound and form the higher pitches in this mixture better than some other ranks. This mixture can serve as a source of basic pitches by which to build up tone in the Choir, Echo, or Accompanimental Organ.

Compare with Echo Mixture.
