An Tuba pitched an octave higher than normal. The name Tuba Clarion has also been used as a synonym for Clarion Horn. See Clarion.

Osiris contains about 50 examples of Tuba Clarion, all at 4' pitch, of which the earliest are listed below. Only one example of Octave Tuba is known.
