Flötenprincipal German |
Listed only by Audsley, who says:
The name given by Walcker to the principal unison [8'] and the attendant octave [4'] stop placed on the Fourth Manual (Echo) of the Organ in the Cathedral of Riga. The stops are of open pipes, yielding flute organ-tone, and are valuable in imparting a distinctive tonality to the division, which is strongly flute-toned throughout.Compare with Prinzipalflöte, Flute Principal.
