Mentioned only by Williams, who says: “Bassetto in the Lower Bavarian specifications of Sponsel (1771) probably denotes an octave pedal flute 4', stopped.”
Bassetto 4', Pedale; Chiesa di San Tommaso, Firenze, Italy. Simoni(?) 1882. A light, clear Principal.
